Notes: Not beta-read. This is a part of the babysiting adventures universe, inspired by Sharon's prompt "Babysitting adventures for uncles Heero, Duo, Trowa and Quatre. Wufei and Relena are the parents, of course". I should state now that the little drabbles in this universe will not be chronological at all!

Convincing Wufei

"They're your most trusted friends."

"I trust them to watch my back."

"And I trust them to watch mine too. You trust them to watch my back; why can't you trust them to watch her back?"

"...They'll corrupt her."

"I gave them rules. They know them well, I made sure of it."

"They'll still manage it."

"Wufei..."

"Can't we get a normal babysitter?"

"Like you would trust a stranger over your friends?"

"You'll regret it when she comes home knowing how to handle a gun, playing practical jokes, talking about running businesses and trying to become an acrobat."

"Wufei, I just said I gave them rules. No guns, no bad practical jokes and safe playing only. I don't mind if she learns how to run a business. I'd say no fighting, but then that means you can't touch her either."

"Wanting to teach her martial arts is for her own protection!"

"Look. They are your closest friends. I don't see why you can't have a little faith in them. Anyway, it's not like she will remember what they try to teach her now."

"Why not?"

"Leila's eighteen months old!"

"So?"

"That's it. Heero and Duo have kindly offered to take care of Leila for one night. Both of them, and Quatre and Trowa, have offered to babysit Leila if we wanted some time alone. I had intended to spend one night with you at a nice dinner and doing things we'd done before Leila was born. If you don't want to, you can call them, say thank you and cancel."

"...You're guilt-tripping me."

"I haven't had you to myself in eighteen months! Is it wrong of me to want some time alone?"

"...No."

"Then pack Leila's bag with me and we'll drop her off at Heero's and Duo's."

"...Does it have to be overnight?"

"Chang Wufei, if you want any chances of having a son, it will have to be overnight."

"...You mean it?"

"..."

"Does that answer your question?"

"Yes. What else do we need to pack?"

"Your phone."

"What? Why?"
