Him to Die Part 6

"I think I need a little fun. Don't you agree?" He tugged Heero down just enough, and claimed a kiss. Hell if he was letting go this time- not until he was completely satisfied...

Trace, his brain reminded him. Fifteen minutes.

Heero opened his lips, his fingers caressing Duo's nape, urging him to tilt his head just a bit more.

Well, it wasn't like they were on a time line...

How many times had he fantasized about this?

And the reality was so, so much better...

When Heero started to pull away, Duo followed, not wanting to let go. Not wanting it to end.

But Heero slid his mouth away from Duo's, placed his lips on the curve of Duo's jawline. "Time, Duo." Heero sounded winded, his breath coming in uneven gasps. "It's time."

"Yes," he agreed. It was time. Time to get out of this uncomfortable chair and push Heero right up against...

But before he could move, Heero had slid off his lap. Duo growled.

Heero's lips twitched. "The trace," he reminded Duo. "We have to send it."

Right. Someone wanted to kill him. They needed to find out who it was. Focus. Duo pulled himself up to the keyboard and started the series of commands that would hopefully let them know at least where the clients were located...

Heero was leaning over his shoulder, watching as Duo sent the trace. "Looks good," he said as the last of the commands was completed.

"Thanks." Duo cast a glance up at him. "Ready?"

Heero looked down, his lips curved in amusement. "To go through the files?"

"Don't even go there, Yuy. Just be thankful I'm going to give you a head start."

Duo smirked as Heero's eyebrows lifted at little. "Head start?"

"To the bed. Unless you prefer a chair? Or the floor?"

"Bed," Heero decided and whirled Duo's chair around. "But I think I'd prefer to try and get there together."

"We might not make it."

"But we'll have fun trying."

Duo slid his hand across the sheets and frowned. Where....? Cracking his eyes open he glared at the empty space beside him. Where the hell had Heero gone? Really, how had he even been able to move after...?

He closed his eyes for a moment. The bed did feel awfully good... it was tempting to stay where he was and see if Heero returned.

But... Heero was no doubt working. Going through the files, checking the trace... and Duo should be out there helping him.

Sighing, he slipped out of bed and looked around for his jeans. As he pulled them on he wondered if the clients had done anything with the pictures. Had someone been informed? Was his abduction being held over someone's head?

Or were they getting some sort of sick satisfaction out of the whole thing?

Either way, maybe he should send them a thank you card when all this was over. It had finally gotten him something he'd wanted for a very long time.

If only he'd get to keep Heero when all this was over...

He left the room, his mind turning in circles.

Heero was sitting in front of his computer, back to Duo. He hadn't bothered with a shirt, and Duo couldn't resist that golden expanse of skin. He leaned over the back of Heero's chair and placed his lips on Heero's bare shoulder.

"What are you doing?"

"Watching a news broadcast," Heero gave him an unreadable look and hit the play button.

Duo's mouth dropped open as the broadcast played, shocked into silence.

"See?" Heero said when it finished. "You apparently are important to somebody...."
