Tenshi Child, Dragon Child Part 4
Heero surveyed the winged people swarming the skies around them. Everyone had wings like his other form, but they were different. Their wings didn't have a glow about them like his, another difference was the fact everyone's wings either matched their hair color or eye color. Most of all though, no one had two sets of wings like him. Shivering in fear, he tried to hide deeper in the folds of materiel. Hopefully they wouldn't try to cut his other wings off like that sorcerer. J had cut them off, pulled them off, used fire, acid, magic and cursed swords to take them off. But they always grew back; his wings were a part of him.
They landed in the courtyard of a castle constructed of mirrors. The lush greenery of the garden was surprising in contrast to the land he had seen before. Twin guards in blue and gold tunics bowed deeply to the girl before opening the doors reverently their bright pink wings quivering in anticipation. Hilde nodded once before entering. She wasn't just some lowly assassin, her position commanded the respect of every soldier in the army. Ignoring the startled servants, she rushed through the castle, her destination foremost on her mind. Stopping to open another door, she brought them in an ornate room of silver and white. Roses adorned every surface possible. She bowed low, after all the man behind the desk was very powerful indeed.
"General Treize, I would like to politely request a private audience with King Zechs."
"Aaah special agent Hilde, I trust you return with your objective accomplished?" A smile spread across his face.
"I'm sorry sir, but I was interrupted. It is imperative I speak with the king." Treize tried to glare at her answer but ended up smiling.
"You look just like Mariemeia when you say that. Come on Di, tell Treize papa what happened."
Hilde pouted; Treize could pick the most awkward moments to get all paternal. Glaring at her father-in-law she stood firm.
"No. I need to talk to King Zechs!"
Treize massaged the bridge of his nose as he felt a tension headache coming on, making sure no one else could hear what he had to say, he sighed and explained to Hilde, "He's out having one of his 'moments' Some idiotic new guy was incompetent enough to have a picture of that dragon in the report on enemy activities. Of course his highness went crazy with rage. He destroyed the entire conference room, and now he's out flying all depressed."
Unsurprised by his reaction Hilde just shook her head.
"Treize?"
"Yeah?"
"Why does he hate the Dragon king so much?"
Treize looked out the window, watching a cherubic little girl dancing in the clouds. Her lilac wings barely big enough to hold her weight.
"It was all a very long time ago Hilde, and it's not really my place to say."
Understanding his silent request Hilde nodded and changed the conversation. "Where's..."
"My daughter decided it's time for the two of you to start thinking about moving in to your own home, so she's out with her mom shopping for wall paper. Last I saw they were arguing the differences of pale cream, eggshell, Beige and morning ecru."
"Dear god."
"That's what I thought. I took one look, and came to work on my day off."
"Well thanks for the heads up Treize! I think I'll just wait for the king in his private sitting room."

Zechs was far above the sea of crimson clouds, which flowed to the north of his castle when he felt it. The faint tug at the back of his mind that whispered to him, something dragon tainted had entered the kingdom. And was now in his castle.
He could still remember the days when that feeling would cause a rush of pleasure to steal through him. Because it had once meant that his Dragon had managed to escape for a few moments to come stay with him. He could remember the days when the only feeling a picture of Wufei had incited was love. That was before his love had betrayed him by killing their child. He should have known better then to let him take their egg to the Dragon realm. He had even sent his little sister to watch over Heero Yuy. But now they were both dead. Funny after all this time he still couldn't silence that tiny voice in his heart that wanted to be with Wufei despite everything, That refused to believe his dragon could have done such a heinous thing, that kept him up at night with images of his beloved in some stranger's arms. Pushing aside his feeling he reminded himself that his people's safety must come first. And there was danger in his kingdom. He headed back to the castle as quickly as possible. His Dragon slayer in his hand ready for a fight.

Duo raced through the shadow lands to Wufei's shortcut quickly. Wufei was on the other side holding the exit open so Duo would have a chance to escape. Perhaps it was luck that he got it right on the first try. Entering through the door he landed right behind a familiar female figure. He could feel rage flow through him at the sight of her patting his Hee-baby's head like he was some kind of dog! Magic fired in his veins but remembering what Wufei had warned him, he had to use a more crude if equally effective method. Grabbing a nearby book, he bashed it into her head. She fell silently, he checked to ascertain that she was alive and smiled in satisfaction. Shinigami's revenge! She would have a headache for at least a week!
Kneeling he picked up Heero and held him close. The little one mewled plaintively and tried to bury himself in Duo. Using needle sharp claws to hold on.
"Awww Hee-Baby, I'm sorry. That horrible girl won't touch you again."
"Hn."
"I know, I know it's my fault. I'll never leave you alone again!"
"Hn Baka."
"I..." suddenly realizing his Dragonling was speaking to him, Duo grew silent and was about to say something when an enraged Tenshi with golden wings and hair stepped through the door holding a wicked sword.
Without a second thought Duo jumped through the exit. His little one's safety came first.

Zechs came through the door in time to see an Akuma and a Dragonling of sorts standing over the prone body of his best agent. When they jumped through a rift in reality, he followed without a second's thought.
