(Seriously, the Free anime has five guys in swimwear.... I think I was influenced...and I've only watched a couple of episodes...)
Drabble 81
The lounge chair was incredibly comfortable, Duo thought to himself. Of course it would be- no chair of Quatre Winner's would ever dare not to be comfortable, even one made mostly of plastic.
The pool in front of him was tempting- an expanse of sparkling blue, small waterfalls, slides, swirling water- a perfect oasis in the desert- not that there were deserts on L4. Still, it was a nice illusion.
He had to admit, it was nice of Quatre to insist on all of them coming up for a vacation. Hell, he hadn't really had a break since... well... those few days after the Mariemeia incident, and that had been four years ago? He hadn't seen much of the guys since then...
"There you are, Duo!" Quatre waved to him as he and Trowa entered the pool area. Duo had to blink for a moment in surprise. Well, sure, he hadn't seen the guys for a bit- but he was seeing quite a bit of them now. Their swimsuits were knee length like his, but tight- nearly painted on. He noted that Quatre had gained quite a bit of muscle and that Trowa had definitely filled out nicely.
"Hey," he replied.
Quatre moved to his side while Trowa dove into the water. Judging by the look on Quatre's face, he wasn't the only one who noticed Trowa looked good in a suit. "Going in?"
"Was just waiting for someone else to show up."
"Race you," Quatre offered and Duo laughed as he got to his feet.
"You're on."
By the time he and Quatre surfaced again, Wufei had joined them, sitting on the edge of the pool, talking to Trowa. His swimsuit covered more of his legs, but was just as tight as the other two's. Seriously, Duo thought to himself with a smile, was he the only one who went for trunks?
Wufei had hardened over the years, he was all clean lines and sharp angles, Duo thought appreciatively. Course, the man was a fitness fanatic after all- there were legends about him at the Preventers' gym.
Then Heero walked in and Duo had to dunk himself to cool the heat that rose up at the sight of Heero in a bathing suit.
This was going to be a very long vacation....
