Wufei/Relena
Waving one last time at the cameras, Relena stepped into the limousine with a sigh. She sank down into the plush seats and pulled out her organizer as her bodyguard sat down across from her.
"Colony tours suck," she muttered as she scanned her list of appearances. Wufei chuckled softly. "What?" She glared over at him and shook her organizer. "Do you know how many more of these meet and greets I have to do?"
Wufei reached into his jacket and pulled out his own organizer. "Ten?"
"Ten," she sighed in confirmation and shook her head. "My feet aren't going to make it."
Wufei raised his eyebrows and looked faintly surprised. "Your feet? I was expecting you to complain about having to make speeches, or all the handshaking or all the people who expect you to remember them from last time-"
She waved her hand in the air, cutting him off. "No, no, I don't mind that. It's all the standing that kills me." Shaking her feet free of the despised high heels, she rubbed them together and hissed softly. "They hurt in these damn shoes I have to wear-"
"You could wear shoes without heels."
"Then I look too short- and too young," she sighed again. "Trust me- I tried it."
Much to her surprise, Wufei tapped his knee. "Put your feet here- I think I can help."
Gingerly she did so, and he drew his fingers gently but firmly across her aching soles. "Oh," she breathed out as he began to rub her feet, "that feels really good."
His lips twitched into a faint smirk. "I know," he said and she laughed, settling down into the seat and closing her eyes.
"You know too, that now that I know you can do this, you're going to have to do it a lot."
"I was counting on it."
