Chordney Manor Part 11
With sure, if somewhat reluctant steps, the boy glided through the thick fog as he approached the huge manor house. At his heels, Backas followed closely while keeping an ever-watchful eye out for hidden dangers. It had been many, many years, centuries actually, since the last time he had stepped foot inside the house. It had once been his home; a place of warmth, safety, and love. But that had been before Christina had come, before his brother had lost all manner of reason, and before his life had been tragically cut short.
Over the years, he had felt many come and go. Most unremarkable in their presence while others had caused his slumbering spirit to stir in its restless sleep. But never before had one pulled him fully toward wakefulness as the one that now resided in the house had done, which is why he was prepared to reenter the house of his birth for the first time in all those many years. His fear and insecurities had kept him from helping the others that had fallen to his brother and Christina's game, but this time he would try. Because this time, there was so much more to lose if he did not.

For one long, breathless moment, Heero thought for sure that the dream they had found themselves in would suddenly dissolve, leaving him back in this room, alone. He had the one thing in the world that mattered most to him in his arms and no matter how many times he had dreamed or fantasized about the moment, nothing could compare to the reality of the soft mouth and pliant body that he now held. Breaking the kiss and pulling back slightly, he waited for Duo's eyes to open only to find himself drowning in glazed violet pools.
"Heero?" Duo breathed, the hands that were clutching tightly in the other man's hair sliding down to frame Heero's face. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." the dark-haired man whispered. "Nothing at all."
"Then why are you staring at me like that?"
"I just never thought...." Heero said before shaking his head and leaning in to press a soft kiss to Duo's lips. When he tried to pull back though, Duo followed him, deepening the kiss and pressing the blue-eyed man down to the floor.
"Duo--" Heero started, breaking the kiss.
"Shh." Duo stopped him by pressing his finger to the other man's lips. "I don't know what's going to happen when we wake up; whether we'll remember what happens here or not. And I don't even know how or why this is possible, but I do know that I don't want to waste the time we have."
For another long moment, Heero could only stare up at the longhaired man as his words became his whole world. Then, with exaggerated slowness, he slid one hand into those long, chestnut tresses, gripping the other man by the back of the neck and pulling him down into another deep kiss. He could not hold the breathless moan that echoed in the back of his throat when Duo settled fully on top of him a second later and he could not help but wonder how he had managed to survive without this feeling up until the moment.
Rolling them over and tucking Duo beneath him, Heero continued to feast on that delicious mouth as he slipped a knee between the violet-eyed man's thighs. Already, he could feel the man's hardening arousal and he took great pleasure in rubbing against it, drawing louder and louder sounds from Duo's throat as he finally broke the kiss and began trailing his lips along the man's slender neck.
On any other occasion, Duo would have wanted nothing more than to spend hours exploring with Heero, learning what made him gasp and moan as the man did the same with him, but he could already feel that their time together was quickly drawing to a close. So, grasping Heero hair in his hands, he pulled the man's head back until he could look him in the eyes. "Please 'Ro." he whispered and the blue-eyed man found himself unable to deny him.
"We don't have--" Heero began as he slipped his hands down to the hem of Duo's night shirt.
"I don't care." the longhaired man said with a shake of his head.
"I won't hurt you." Heero returned, his movements stilling only long enough to pull a desperate whine from his soon-to-be lover's throat.
Quickly grasping one of the dark-haired man's hands in his own, Duo brought it to his mouth, slipping the first three fingers past his lips and into his mouth. The feel of that agile little tongue twirling around his digits was almost more than Heero could take but when his violet-eyed love spread his legs and pulled his knees up to his chest before moving the hand, now wet with his own spittle, down toward the entrance to his body, he thought for sure his head would explode.
"Duo." he moaned before taking back control of his hand and carefully rubbing his middle finger against the tight pucker before slipping it inside for the first time. It was tight and hot but above all else, it was electric. But the sounds Duo was making were far better.
Arching his back at the feeling of intrusion, Duo could not hold the loud moan that escaped his parted lips. The feeling was uncomfortable at first, but as Heero continued to thrust the finger in and out of his body, the pleasure began to grow. Before long, Heero was able to add a second finger then a third as he continued to move them carefully, spreading them apart in order to stretch the tight muscle. When he managed to graze over Duo's prostate, he was rewarded with a scream from that dulcet throat as the chestnut-haired man's writhing increased.
"Now, Heero." he exclaimed before reaching down to pull the man's fingers from his body.
Needing no further prompting, Heero quickly reached for the fastenings to his trousers, releasing them before pushing them and his boxers down from around his hips, freeing his aching cock. Then spitting into his own hand, he slicked himself up before positioning himself over Duo.
"Try to relax." he breathed as he slowly began to push inside.
The pain was almost more than the longhaired man could take and for a moment, he considered asking Heero to stop. But just as before, once the head of Heero's penis had pushed passed the ring of his anus, the pain began to diminish, replaced by a not so unpleasant burn that too was being overcome with pleasure.
"Are you alright?" Heero asked and it took a moment for Duo to realize that he was fully inside him.
"Ye... yeah." he breathed before giving the man a soft smile.
Smiling back, Heero leaned down and placed a soft kiss on his lips while giving his hips an experimental twist. Duo reaction was immediate; he reflexively wrapped his legs around the blue-eyed man's hips and wrapped his arms around the man's shoulders. Heero took this as his cue to continue and slowly withdrew from Duo's body until only the head of his cock was still inside before pushing back in just as slowly, allowing him to feel every inch of the channel caressing him.
Duo too was enjoying the slow feel of the man moving in and out of him, but he wanted to feel more.
"Harder, Heero." he moaned, shifting his hips and thrusting them upwards in response to the blue-eyed man's own thrust, forcing him deeper and drawing a deep moan from Heero in the process.
"Duo."
"Heero please, I'm not gonna break."
This was all the dark-haired man needed. He immediately pulled out almost all the way once again, before slamming back in hard and fast, causing Duo to arch his back and scream in pleasure. Keeping that pace, Heero set out to pull more and louder responses from his lover, but, as with all good things, he could feel his end approaching quickly. So, reaching between them, he wrapped his hand around the violet-eyed man's straining erection, pumping it once before he felt Duo tense, his back arching one last time as his orgasm swept through him. The feel of that already tight body gripping even harder pushed Heero over the edge as well as he slammed home one last time before emptying himself inside Duo's still spasming body.
An eternity later, his arm, which was the only thing keeping him from collapsing onto his lover, gave out. Luckily he had the sense of mind to push himself to the side, pulling Duo with him and tucking him close to his chest.
"Heero, that was..." Duo panted harshly as he waited for his heart rate to return to normal. He had never felt anything so amazing in his life and he wanted nothing more than to lay there in his new lover's arms for the rest of his life. But just as that thought crossed his mind, he could feel himself slipping from Heero's embrace.
"Heero!" he exclaimed, his arms tightening, but it only seemed to cause the feeling to fade faster.
"Duo!" the dark-haired man's own cry echoed in his ears but it seemed far away.
"No, Heero, don't leave me!" But it was too late. With a strangled scream, Duo suddenly sat up in the bed Gregory Chordney had placed him in earlier and he could feel his heart twist in his chest. "Heero." he whispered before burying his face in his hands.
********************
In his own room, Heero sat up sharply in the bed, his head reeling from being ripped so suddenly from the dream and with a curse, he threw the covers aside before slipping from the bed. Once on his feet though, he found himself at a loss for what to do next. It had been a dream after all. Not even a tell tale wetness stained the front of his pants and there was most definitely no longhaired siren lying in the bed right then either. But he still could not shake the feeling that it had been real in some form or another and whether that was wishful thinking or not he simply did not have the time to debate it; he had to find Duo.
With deft movements, Heero bent down and grabbed his shoes before sitting on the edge of the bed and pulling them on. Then, standing once again, he headed for the door, his every intent to turn the manor upside down if he had to, to find the violet-eyed man. However, when he pulled the door open, he found a boy standing on the other side, a boy with short, chestnut hair and deep violet eyes.
"Wha?" he breathed, taking a step backwards. For one, brief moment, he had actually been able to see through the child.
"You have to help him, Heero." the boy stated in a calm voice that still managed to send a shiver down the dark-haired man's spine.
"Who--"
"You have to save him from my brother and Christina before it's too late. Before they add him to the souls that already haunt this place."
Even as he spoke, the child's presence began to fade and his words began to echo through the hall. "He's being kept in the east wing, but you have to hurry." With the last word leaving his mouth, he faded completely, leaving Heero to gape in shock and disbelief, wondering if he had truly woken up at all.
********************
Duo only allowed himself to wallow in his loss for a few minutes before shaking it off with growing anger. Having been given a taste of the one thing he had ever wanted in his life only for it to be so rudely taken away was more than enough to thoroughly piss him off. So, throwing the blankets back, he slipped to the edge of the bed before standing and testing his legs to see if they were going to hold him up. He was pleasantly surprised to find that some of his strength had returned by then, he only felt a bit dizzy from the vertical movement and his knees did not feel weak at all.
Confident that he was now strong enough to find his way out, he started across the room toward the wall where he remembered the servant entering. He still did not know for sure how the door worked or even if he would be able to figure it out before the man or Chordney returned, but he was more than ready to search the entire wall if that was what it took.
Just before he could reach the wall though, moving on well-oiled hinges, it swung open a few inches, causing Duo to freeze mid-step fearing that he was soon to be found out of bed. But instead of the old servant or the manor owner walking through the now open door, it was a large, frightening looking black dog.
Duo's eyes grew to twice their size at seeing the dog enter the room not five feet from him. He knew better than to move even though it was his first instinct. But instead of charging forward and tearing his throat out, like he was afraid the dog would do, the creature suddenly sat down and held out one paw in greeting.
"Uhhhh." the chestnut-haired man stammered as he continued to blink in shock at the dog. "Nice doggie?"
With a wag of his tail, the dog stood up once again and turned back toward the wall where he had entered. Before he took a step forward though, he looked backwards over his shoulder at Duo and waited.
"You want me to follow you?" Duo asked and immediately felt silly for speaking to a dog. But the creature seemed to actually smile at his words before turning back toward the door and walking through. "Well, I guess I don't have much choice if I wanna get out of here." he finally sighed and moved to follow the dog from the room.
Passing through the door, he was surprised to find himself in yet another bedroom instead of the hallway he had expected and for a moment, he paused, giving himself a chance to look around. The room was actually bigger than the one he had been kept prisoner in, if that were at all possible, with a bed dominating the space along with large, oak desk sitting in front of a bank of windows.
"This must be Chordney's room." he reasoned, but before he could give any more thought to the room, a soft whimper from his furred rescuer drew his attention back to the animal only to find it standing in front of a normal looking door.
Pure relief rushed through him at the sight of the wooden barrier that stood between him and freedom and with quick steps, he crossed the room, watching as the dog stood to the side to allow him access to the door. For one brief moment, he felt sure that the door would be locked, but when he tried the knob, it turned easily in his hand and with a soft whisper of hinges, it swung open enough to allow him and the dog to pass through.
Releasing the breath he did not know he had been holding, Duo checked the hallway he found on the other side over quickly before turning to his right. He had only taken a step though before a sharp tug on the hem of his nightshirt had him spinning back around in alarm. Once again, he found himself staring at the large black dog that was sitting there with the hem still gripped in his teeth.
"I guess that's the wrong way then?" he asked ruefully and watched in disbelief as the dog actually shook its head before releasing him and starting down the hall in the opposite direction. With a shrug of his shoulders, the violet-eyed man started after the animal. "I just hope you know where you're going." he whispered. "'Cause this place is worse than a maze if you ask me."
He did not receive an answer to his words, but he did not really expect one and instead, he continued to follow the creature as it led him down first one hallway then another. After only five minutes of walking not only was he hopeless lost, he was also beginning to feel the effects of the walk on his still recovering body. His muscles were feeling tired and achy and a nearly constant chill had taken up residence in his feet and legs that made continuing to follow the dog harder and harder. He was just about ready to find a safe place to rest for a bit when a familiar voice sounded from around the corner just ahead of them and quickening his steps, he rushed forwarded, only to be jerked backwards at the last moment by yet another sharp tub on his nightshirt.
Glaring at the dog this time, he opened his mouth to scold it when another voice, this one sending a shiver down his spine, stopped him short. Carefully, he crept forward until he could look around the corner of the hallway.
"I asked what you were doing here?" Gregory Chordney demanded again in a hard voice.
"Now, now, Gregory, my dear, you know very well why I'm here." Beth smiled back at the blonde-haired man, moving in close to run one hand suggestively down his chest.
"So," the man spat before brushing that hand away none too gently. "you've found someone susceptible to your powers."
"Yes," the woman said with an even wider smile as she brushed down the front of her dressing, turning first one way and then the other as she showed off for Gregory. "and isn't she just lovely? Not nearly as beautiful as I was but still lovely. And with such a weak mind. It was easy to coax her into giving herself to me, especially after I promised her she could keep Duo when I was through."
Moving forward once again, the woman plastered herself to Gregory, wrapping her arms around the man's neck and pulling his head downward. "How long has it been since you've felt the pleasures of a woman, Gregory?" she purred as she pressed even closer. "We could enjoy a few hours together, like old times."
"Christina." Gregory growled before shoving the woman backwards, causing her to stumble and nearly fall. "I have no desire to ever touch you again, no matter what form you take."
"Is that anyway to speak to your wife?" she huffed, pulling herself back to her full height and straightening her dress yet again.
"My duties to you ended on the night you killed Jonathan." Gregory snarled as he took a threatening step toward the woman, who seemed to cower for only a moment before setting her shoulders and glowering at the man.
"The little brat had it coming." she spat back, taking her own step forward. "He chose to give his power to you instead of me."
"He was my brother!" the man shouted and drew back his hand like he was going to strike the woman.
"Oh, like you were the greatest big brother. You were going to turn him into a living corpse, using him as a power source for the rest of his life. At least his sacrifice served a purpose; until you went and ruined it by killing me."
"Do not push me, Christina." Gregory snarled. "Now leave here before I forget that I'm a gentleman."
"You can't hide him forever." Christina smiled, enjoying the fact that she had gotten under the man's skin.
"I don't need forever, Christina. Just a few more hours and your reign will finally be over."
"That's what you think, Gregory, my dear. That's what you think." With that said, the woman turned and walked off down the hallway, her smug smile firmly etched on her face.
Gregory watched her go, feeling a sudden sinking in his gut. Turning on his heels, he started down the hall toward his own suit, intent on finishing the job with Duo and finally ending the game. Just around the corner, the longhaired man saw him coming and quickly turned himself as well, searching the hallway frantically for a place to hide. He could feel the panic rising inside of him but before it could completely paralyze him, he felt another tug on his nightshirt. It did not take much encouragement for him to follow that tug as his furry companion led him to one of the door set in the hall. Grasping the door handle, he turned it quickly, pulling the door open, slipping through and pulling it closed behind him just as Chordney turned the corner into the hall.

I was going to wait to post this chapter once I'd finished chapter 12, but since it's proving to be very difficult I've decided to not keep everyone waiting. With any luck, I'll be able to get my flow back for it soon.
