Since you want to see Heero's little surprise for Duo... Here it is. But I guess it can still be read as an one shot.
Christmas Surprise
When Heero and Duo stepped out of their car, Duo was still staring at the magnificent hotel where the company Christmas party was supposed to take place. Never had he thought that he would have the chance to step into the finest hotel in the area.
The banquet hall that was reserved was absolutely breath taking. The large room was beautifully decorated, the music was great, the food was fantastic, and the drinks were excellent. Company executives and employees along with their significant others were generally having a blast.
Heero was uncharacteristically nervous. While Duo was about to question his lover, the rest of the room was quieted in that second as the lights in the room were suddenly focused on the two of them.
Duo blinked when Heero all of a sudden dropped on his knee with an opened jewelry box in front of him.
When his brain finally registered what he was seeing, Duo nodded mutely and proceeded to kiss the hell out of his lover to show his appreciation.
Bright smiles were lit up on both faces when the newly engaged pair finally broke up from the scorching kiss.
Heero nodded slightly toward Quatre, his boss and long time friend. A Few seconds later, Duo was once again rendered speechless.
On the other side of the room, a pastor was now standing on the podium, and wedding music was starting to drift out of the speakers as Heero slowly maneuvered the two of them toward the stage.
Once they were standing in front of the priest, excited murmurs flowed around the two lovers, but none of it was registered by either of them.
"Dearly beloved. We're gathered here today..."
