Off-Limits
It was the annual Christmas party that the Preventers held. Everyone was generally enjoying him or herself, spending some time to bond with each other.
Duo was standing by the bar and chatting with a new recruit animatedly.
As the new guy started to get a little touchy feely, a low growl behind Duo made him look up...
The furious glare shooting out of those fierce blue eyes made the newbie mumble something incomprehensible under his breath, and head toward the other side of the room like a bat out of hell.
Duo rolled his eyes as he turned around to face his lover, "I can tell him off by myself perfectly fine, Heero."
Heero wrapped Duo in an embrace and snorted, "Well, he just needs to learn not to touch what doesn't belong to him. And the message comes across perfectly clear."
Duo teased, "Possessive much?"
"One has to mark his own territory," Heero retorted. "Now, I just need to find a way to let the rest of the world know that you're definitely off-limits."
Two pairs of hungry lips met as the rest of the world faded around them.
